Jeffrey Leiser is a film and concert composer and filmmaker. He has produced and composed original music / sound design for 35 short films and 4 feature films, including Glitch in the Grid (Best Score, Park City Film Music Festival) and Apocalypsis (LIONSGATE). Jeffrey has also created music for multiple art exhibitions including Anthropic Principle, which was included in the major Whitney Museum exhibition Dreamlands. As a writer, Jeffrey wrote Finding Infinity, a screenplay about Georg Cantor, and the libretto for new opera, Freydis and GudridThe Summit, his first full-length symphony, was recorded at Avatar Studios and released by Discovery Music + Vision to positive reviews from Gramophone Magazine, ClassicFM, and I Care if you Listen. He also composed Time Squares and composed a new full-length operaFreydis and Gudrid, which has received three cultural grants and one residency (Guild Hall of East Hampton, which included a 50-minute performance) and has been adapted to feature-length film (releasing late 2022).
